Adrian Hayes - the Dubai-based British explorer who has broken the record for reaching the world’s ‘Three Poles’, the North Pole, South Pole and Mount Everest, in the fastest time - has arrived in Dubai on Wednesday night.
“I have frostbite on my nose and lips. I’ve lost 12 kg,” said a tired and weary looking Hayes on arrival. ”But I loved Antarctica,” he added.
Adrian Hayes, 45, reached the South Pole on Friday night, having completed all three expeditions in just over 19 months.
