His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, VicePresident and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai yesterday launched the region’s first Museum of Middle East Modern Art.
Located in Culture Village, the museum brings together elements of the sea and Dubai’s tradition of seafaring.
“The museum will be a manifestation of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s strategic vision of making the UAE a hub of multi-cultural understanding. The museum will be a celebration of the region’s artists and art,” said Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
The launch of the Museum of Middle East Modern Art comes in the wake of the decree issued by Shaikh Mohammed establishing Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and the recent launch of Khor Dubai project, aiming at highlighting the cultural diversity in the UAE. The authority would collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers such as Dubai Properties Group, as well as other culture and arts institutes and government entities in order to ensure the development of art projects in line with best international practices. The Museum of Middle East Modern Art has an amphitheatre for live performances and international cultural festivals, an exhibition hall and smaller museums displaying local and international art, as well as a shipyard for traditional dhow builders.

Blue Foundation
The Blue Foundation
- Amir has a new establishment looking to support activists it is called Blue Foundation and it is a ( Art Centre for peace efforts).
Art could be the way forward to unite governments enabling the advancement on the way people think and feel about Islamic – Western reconciliation. With commitment to Peace & Love amongst people during these most troublesome times will Foster a culture of respect and co-operation with mutual understanding between traditions and overcome the tensions and mistrusts of people this century.
Blue symphony will give a multifaceted intercultural dialogue that bridges the divides through common value and goals of finding a way to bring peace and this is a way of making it totally visible to the world. The Artist’s aim is to spread a clear message of peace in Islam with his work to as many countries as possible and to different religions. Blue symphony communicates with all religions which believe in God, and also they have the main subject in common the hidden spiritual nature and faith in the ‘The Divine’ so if the message will be accepted with western activities and organizations we will get amazing support with the emphasis on peace activities avoiding political arguments, this is the first few steps towards this.

mail should say e-mail address (above) lost first message but again
dear his highness shaikh mohammed bin rashid al maktoum:
this is an e-mail i sent to jamali
polished stradgey for jamali museum , not time for normal channels:
phillip brown to jamali
jamali
i have been planning some on this , with not knowing all the facts, this is how i would proceed.
london would be the show room for the museum. by this i mean a client would come in to london show room or gallery and they would like to pruchase a $100,000 apinting, with taxes that would be about $100,000 +
vat tax 15% ($15,000) + other tax about 5 to 10% ($7,500) shipping $2500 for a total of $125,000. however at about this time you would suggest that they go to jamali museum in dubai to see the painting there at which point the price would drop back to about $100,000 +
air fare (free) hotel (free) paid by the dubai government plus shipping painting to dubai (free) same reason. now shipping from dubai to client will cost moore about $5,000. now total only $105,000 plus the welthy client gets a free mini vacation in dubai. maybe dubai government will help you set up in london.
